What is Pau D’arco
Pau D’arco is a hardwood evergreen tree with large bright blooms found in the rainforest regions of Central and South America. The inner bark of the Pau D’arco tree is used for medicinal and therapeutic purposes because it contains active antimicrobial compounds including flavenoids, benzenoids and quinoids. Additionally, it is made of the rare chemical compound naphthoquinoes, particularly lapachol and beta-lapachone, which act as antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal agents. Pau D’arco also contains antioxidants.
How to Take Pau D’arco Tea
